Enrollment Coordinator

Doane University, a nationally recognized liberal arts and sciences university in Crete, NE, invites applications for the position of Enrollment Coordinator. This position initiates and supports new student enrollment by working with Admission Counselors to contact prospective new students for traditional undergraduate level. Touch points with prospective students are primarily through telephone contacts and email. This position will be responsible for high volume telephone contact daily, to meet enrollment goals. The goal of each touch point is to qualify the prospect and then transfer to the Admission Counselor. The Enrollment Coordinator is also responsible for all administrative support on the Admission Team.
Associate degree or two (2) years of college required; bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
1-3 years customer service experience in an outbound calling environment.
Candidates must possess a friendly, professional attitude and demeanor, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, proficient in MS Office, and general knowledge of higher education and sales.
The ability to work well in a time-sensitive, dynamic, student centered and responsive office with a strong work ethic, character and personal integrity, and ability to work with the utmost professionalism, discretion and confidentiality is a must.
Ability to work various shifts to accommodate inquiries in various time zones. The earliest shift begins at 8:00am and the latest shift concludes at 10:00pm CST. Some Saturday hours may be required.
Compensation: Starting pay for this position is $12.44/hr $14.00/hr, depending on years of related experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
