Controls Technical Specialist II

Our factory in Crete, NE is one of the largest wet pet food manufacturing facilities in the U.S. as a mass producer of over one thousand tons of pet food per day, including brands like Alpo¬ , Nestl√ Purina ONE¬ , Pro Plan¬ , Friskies¬ and Nestl√ Purina Veterinary Diets¬ brands. The Controls Technical Specialist is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining and enhancing the accuracy, reliability and system controls data credibility of PLC and PC based automation systems. In this role, you will oversee PLC upgrades and wiring modifications on production equipment. In addition, The Controls Specialist will work directly with our maintenance team to troubleshoot and support production line modifications. This position is regularly scheduled for day shift Monday through Friday.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Configure, program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
  • Identify and develop controls systems solutions that comply with all standards and requirements of projects
  • Design and facilitate updates in automation technology
  • Provide programming and electrical support on plant capital projects
  • Implement control systems software upgrade
  • Install and troubleshoot plant computer software and hardware.
Perform all other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications (Minimum):
Associates Degree in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical or related field

2+ years of applicable experience in programming and troubleshooting PLC software, hardware and electrical systems

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
