Assistant or Associate Professor of Business - Management / Human Resources

Doane University, a nationally recognized liberal arts and sciences university in Nebraska, invites applications to fill two full-time positions in Business areas of Management and Human Resources. It is anticipated that we will hire in both areas beginning Fall 2019. Positions will be Assistant or Associate Professor of Business. Ph.D. in Management or related field preferred, ABD and Master's considered.
Teaching responsibilities will include a combination of the following courses: Management, Organizational Behavior, Quantitative Methods, International Management, Managing Operations for Quality and Productivity, Contemporary Issues in HR, Ethics in Business, Small Business Management, Strategic Management, and Executing Business Strategy. Faculty may also be responsible for teaching courses in areas such as: research, introduction to business, statistics, liberal arts studies and others. Additional responsibilities include scholarship, service, and helping to grow the business program.
Preference will be given to candidates who are interested in an active learning and teaching environment, value interdisciplinary studies, are committed to teaching to a diverse population of students, include students with different perspectives, and are responsive to student needs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
