Summary:
The Spotter Driver is responsible for operating large vehicles in a safe and professional manner and ensuring you are following all customer account requirements and operating safely within the perimeters of the warehousing facilities. Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Job
Responsibilities:
Follow spotting service procedures while moving trailers in an out of loading docks in an efficient and timely manner
Operating reefer units, including temperatures changes
Other duties as assigned by management.
Must be able to do the following without assistance:
Climb in or out of the tractor
Climb in and out of a trailer from ground level
Climb up and down from the tractor cat-walk
Crawl under a tractor/trailer to perform inspection duties as required by Federal regulations and company policy
Dolly a loaded trailer up or down to complete hook-up operations
Operate large vehicles in a variety of weather conditions safely
Read and understand computers in truck
Read and understand highway signs, signals, and respond to official inquires and able to make entries on reports and records
Minimal
Qualifications:
Must have a working knowledge of DOT regulations and spotting requirements
Verifiable 1-year over-the road experience
Read and understand the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public
Preferred
Qualifications:
Possess a Class A CDL with Air Brakes Endorsement
Have a basic understanding ofEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
