Production Data Coordinator-3rd Shift
KEY RESULT AREAS:
Works closely with Manufacturing, Materials Handling, and Financial/Costing teams within the factory to support the collection, entry and reporting of manufacturing and inventory management functions. Directly affects costing, inventory management, and performance reporting.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
1. Enters and validates production data:
a. Validates materials usage transactions and associated variances. Reconciles.
b. Validates declared production transactions
c. Analyzes and corrects failed material usage and declared production process errors IDOCS .
d. Analyzes production quantities in support of manufacturing.
e. Finalizes and completes production run information in preparation for financial reconciliation.
2. Performs Raw and Packaging Materials Management Functions:
a. Validates raw and packaging receipt information.
b. Initiates and manages materials movement transactions in direct support of Materials Handling processes and Warehouse Management.
c. Corrects system generated error messages (or unused transactions) related to Materials Handling functions.
3. Performs Inventory Management Functions:
a. Initiates Inventory cycle count process as needed to support analysis of variance.
b. Performs balance reconciliation between SAP raw/packing material warehouse and inventory management systems.
4. Supports continuous improvement efforts:
a. Analyzes plant floor process errors to determine root causes using SAP transactional history.
b. Works with production management to develop action plans for addressing process failures.
c. Provides timely feedback to plant production and material handling personnel in support of continuous improvement initiatives.
d. Monitors GLOBE System Health Check indicators to insure overall system and process effectiveness.
e. Performs rework transactions / adjustments to support production and warehouse teams.
5. Performs other duties as directed by the supervisor.
Candidate must be available to work on the 2nd shift.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma, 2-year accounting degree recommended or equivalent training
1. Detail oriented with strong problem solver skills.
2. Able to perform process analysis and validate results.
3. Able to effectively facilitate resolution of complex topics with relevant factory personnel.
4. Proficient in basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office applications.
5. Strong communication skills and organizational skills.
