AmeriCold Logistics, the largest provider of temperature controlled distribution services in the US, is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to join the team at our Crete, Nebraska facility.
Primary Responsibility: Operates and maintains the inventory of the warehouse. Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type and value of product stocked.
Essential Functions:
1. Count product in stock and posts totals to inventory records.
2. Compare inventories to office records or computes figures from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.
3. Verifies clerical computations against physical count of product and adjust errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
4. Prepare reports such as inventory balance, price list and shortages.
5. Stocks and issues materials or mechandise.
6. Tracks damanged product and logs to system.
7. Performs cycle count as a percentage of warehouses on a weekly basis per instructions.
8. Runs warehouse exception reports and investigates irregularities.
9. Sample audits inbound and outbound loads.
10. Controls all hold by labels and physical restriction - reconciled weekly.
11. Other duties as requested.
Required
Experience:
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2 years related experience in distribution or equivalent.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment without constant supervision.
PC skills, including Microsoft office.
Forklift license, CPR and First Aid training a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
