Warehouse Manager CLASSIFICATION:
2ndShift, Monday-Thursday.
I.
POSITION
Summary:
Operate and maintain our wastewater treatment plant.
Effectively treat all wastewater from our pet food facility to meet our discharge permit.
II.
ESSENTIAL JOB
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF), roto strainer, reactor tank.
Executing repairs and major overhauls to system components, and associated equipment utilizing original equipment manufacturers recommendations and specifications and / or other recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices.
Understanding electrical schematics, PLC control functions, and Electrical Distribution systems and the ability to troubleshoot root causes and determine proper repairs.
Performing installations and replacements of wastewater system components and associated equipment, within the guidelines set forth by the company.
Analyzing system data and trending values to determine the need for increased maintenance frequencies or improved maintenance procedures and safe work practices.
Assisting department management on documentation of DMR and the testing influent and effluent.
Preforming jar test, COD test and PH at regular intervals to in-sure effective treatment and record all results.
Understands the operation and maintenance of DAF Systems, lift stations, and associated equipment.
And all other assigned duties.
III.
QUALIFICATIONS AND
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Work with little to no supervision.
Possesses the skills needed to repair, maintain and troubleshoot machinery.
Knows machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
Proficient in forklift operation is a plus.
Has experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Wastewater Operation IV.
